So Mosseny, Founder, Lawyer, Arbitrator, Mediator

Mr So Mosseny had practical experiences in criminal, civil and commercial areas since 2004. He provided legal advice, due diligence and drafted contracts in commercial and civil matters, among other things, Shareholders agreements, Sale and Purchase agreements, Lease agreements, Dispute settlement agreements, Divorce agreements, Testamentary successions. He also has licenses to practice as a commercial mediator and arbitrator in Cambodia. Additionally, he is an accredited mediator with the Center for Effective Dispute Resolution in London (CEDR). During his entire career, he had represented clients both locals and foreigners and appeared before all levels of courts in Cambodia. For international practices, he had represented clients charged with the most serious international crimes before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), a hybrid internationalized tribunal in Cambodia.

In addition to his legal practices, Mr Mosseny taught commercial, civil and criminal laws at various universities in Cambodia. Among many subjects he taught included Corporate laws and Commercial laws, Taxation law, Family law, Civil law and procedure, Criminal law and procedure.

Mr Mosseny had been trained as lawyer at the Lawyer Training Centre of the the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia (BAKC) in 2002 and became a registered member of the BAKC in 2003. Nearly two decades later, he had pursued alternative dispute resolution practices by joining arbitration and mediation training courses in 2019 and 2021 respectively and became registered commercial arbitrator and mediator at the National Commercial Arbitration Center (NCAC) in 2020 and 2023 respectively. Mr Mosseny obtained his law degree (LLB 2002) from the Royal University of Law and Economics and his master degree (LLM 2008) from the Pannasastra University of Cambodia.

Mr Mosseny had additional skills including data analysis and case management expertise.

Mr Mosseny had other work experiences in various capacities, inter alia, as legal consultant/adviser for private companies and law firms, as data analyst/consultant and project manager for the NGOs, as director for Research, Publication and Broadcasting Department of the BAKC and a member of Specialized Committee of Criminal Law of the BAKC. He also served as member of Executive Board of the NCAC and as director of Disciplinary Committee of the NCAC (2022-2025). Mr Mosseny actively served as volunteered coach and arbitrator in various Moot competitions.

Mr Mosseny is fluent in Khmer and English languages. He understands basic French and very limited Japanese languages.

Ms Marada’s journey in the legal field began at SPKL Law Office, where she honed her skills as an intern in 2017 and advanced to the roles of Lawyer Assistant and Legal Adviser.

Fluent in both Khmer and English, Ms Marada possesses strong communication skills that enable her to effectively engage with clients and colleagues alike. Her expertise spans various domains, including Criminal Law, Civil Law and Contract Law, reflecting her profound understanding and proficiency in navigating complex legal matters.
